Hi, I’m Monica Ro
Founder of Monro Photography, mom of three, lover of coffee, plants, travel and meaningful moments.
My photography journey began in 2015, sparked by motherhood and a deep desire to preserve the fleeting beauty of childhood. After having my second child, something clicked literally and figuratively and I knew this was more than just a hobby. I committed to learning the craft, capturing life’s most tender moments for families like yours.
Today, I’m a proud mama to three amazing kids, my oldest just graduated high school (Class of 2025!), my middle is headed off to middle school, and my youngest just graduated kindergarten. Life is full, busy, beautiful and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Motherhood has shaped me in profound ways, and I carry that love into every session I shoot. I’m a crunchy ish mama who thrives on strong coffee, good food and travels.
Losing both of my parents at a young age and not having many photos with them is a huge part of why this work matters so much to me. My mission is simple: to make sure you’re seen and celebrated, especially the mamas and dads who are usually behind the lens.
This business wouldn’t be what it is without the incredible support of my community, my tribe. I’m deeply grateful to every family who’s trusted me with their memories and helped Monro Photography grow into what it is today.
Let’s tell your story, beautifully and honestly, because these moments?
They’re worth remembering.
